We are remaining open, but under current STAGE 4 Restrictions, the government directives to keep you safe, requires only URGENT or ESSENTIAL podiatry services. So if you are in pain, have a medical condition, or you foot condition is affecting you functioning, and is likely to deteriorate significantly, please phone the clinic for an appointment. If your problem is non urgent please defer your appointment till after the restrictions.  For all normal  leg and footcare, we are Telehealth ready, and also have foot care and rehab kits(for various conditions) that can be purchased online and delivered non-contact to your door, which include  a telehealth appointment. See our online shop below. There is no restrictions on telehealth appointments. Phone or video consultations are available for all, and where appropriate, those on chronic disease plan referred by their GP, are eligible for medicare rebate. Dva patients are also covered, and most private health insurances provide a rebate.

Cheltenham Podiatry is also offering urgent care and high risk podiatry to reduce stress on our medical clinics, emergency departments and hospitals. 

Some of the ways you can do this is by choosing to access our expertise in the following areas:

  1. Acute foot and ankle injuries including sprains, strains or fractures. -We can assess your injury, utilising our onsite high end ultrasound, and treat with laser to reduce pain, inflammation and injury and refer you directly for bulk billed xrays/ultrasound confirmations if required.
  2.  We have a full range of ‘moon boots’ available in clinic
  3.  As foot, leg and ankle experts we can advise you on acute care and rehabilitation of your injury 
  4. Ingrown toenails
    – Please attend your podiatrist for treatment and to help prevent infections
  5. Wound Management and diabetic foot care
    – All our podiatrists are trained in high risk wound care, and prevention of diabetic foot complications

We continue to screen you prior to your attendance for onsite urgent care. if  you have any cold or flu symptoms, or have been in contact with anyone who is unwell, travelled recently or been  in contact with confirmed COVID-19 case, please refrain from visiting our clinic, and reschedule your appointment.
